On Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas the Craft Council of Ireland also attended the market, giving customers the opportunity to pick up the perfect handmade Christmas gift.
Catherdral Street Market, Another Excuse to Pickup Some Christmas Gifts
Customers had the chance to soak up the Christmas spirit at the latest addition to Dublin City’s Markets, which took place on Cathedral Street, Dublin 1 (Pedestrian area beside the Pro Cathedral) from Thursday to Sunday starting 3rd December for three weeks from 11.00am – 5.00pm.
Dublin’s newest Christmas market consisted of 10 traders selling craft products such as homemade candles, gifts and cards, fair trade Christmas toys etc. A masseuse was also available for tired shoppers allow them to take the weight off their feet!
There was also regular carol singing and choir performances from Focus Ireland, Singing Santa’s, St Andrews Choir, Threshold and Hallelujah Choir Coolock amongst others.
