Excellence In Local Government Awards
Dublin City Council in partnership with Dublin City BID was named the winner of the Boots Partnership with Business Award at the 6th Annual Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards Ceremony. These awards acknowledge and encourage innovation and best practice among Ireland’s local authorities.
The Dublin City BID received the award for the valuable contribution which we make to the city including the provision of additional cleaning services provide in the city centre since March 2008, our Street Ambassador service and the various social responsibility programmes undertaken. We also received recognition for our zero tolerance stance towards graffiti removal, which has seen a reduction in graffiti of 90% in the city’s retail core since November 2008
