Each day our Street Ambassadors assess the level of cleanliness and monitor the BID area to make it more attractive and welcoming place for our customers, visitors and investors. A big part of our work is to deliver additional cleaning services. A recent independent report showed a significant improvement in the cleanliness of the BID area since the BID was established - 90.95% clean! Our services includes;
Street Cleaning Services
- Immediate response: when we see an area in need of urgent attention we arrange to have it cleaned instantly.
- Additional street washing & power washing: we have purchased new machines and deliver regular mechanical washing of the streets of the BID
- Kerbs, corners & lower boundary facings: we now arrange for additional street vacuuming and street corner cleaning – giving greater attention to detail.
Graffiti Removal
We have a ‘Zero Tolerance’ approach to graffiti in the BID area. Since we started our graffiti removal service in November we have removed 7,000 sq metres in the BID area. We hope to have the city Graffiti Free by September this year.
