We want to make our BID area as welcoming and attractive as possible for everyone who visits, shops or does business in it. In addition to our intensive cleaning programme we also have a street/ environment improvement programme that includes;
- Floral Displays
We have worked with Dublin City Council to identify the most visable and impactful locations in the area to introduce attractive and blossoming floral displays.
- Traffic Signal Boxes
We have brightened up the streets starting with the traffic signal boxes. Each one features a colourful map of the street to help tourists and visitors to get their bearings. Famous Dublin historian Pat Liddy provided a quirky quote about the street on each one. Look out for them!
- Public Domain
Our street ambassadors walk the streets each day looking for improvement opportunities in the area such as broken paving, lights etc. we report these to the City Council. We also deliver a comprehensive enhanced cleaning and graffiti removal service for the area.
- Additional Street Lighting
We have worked with Local Authority to improve the street lighting in the city in the evenings. New lights have been added to Lemon Street, Thomas Lane, Frenchman's Lane and Liffey Street Upper.
