Dublin is such a fantastic place to visit with so much to enjoy for all the family. In the BID area we have developed a few activities ourselves to encourage people to come into their Capital and enjoy everything it has to offer.
BIDs For KIDs Programme
We have a full fun-packed and free entertainment programme for children throughout the year – all are welcome. It includes:

- Summer Puppet Shows
- Halloween Horrors
- On Street Entertainment
Dine in Dublin : Restaurant Week
We organised the first ever ‘Dine in Dublin Restaurant Week’. Over 53 restaurants participated by offering special €25 / €30. Over 12,500 hungry Dubliners enjoyed this great initiative which restaurants reported was even busier than Christmas! The next Dine in Dublin will be in March. Check out the website for details
BID – Lighting Up the City
The streets of the city centre were transformed into a Winter Wonderland last November when we joined with businesses in the area to erect fantastic new energy efficient Christmas lights to brighten up the Capital during the festive season. The lights are designed to welcome people into the city centre during the inclement winter months and add to the already fantastic and uniquely magical atmosphere of the City. We are also part funders of the 60ft LED light tree, which was specially designed for O’Connell Street.
